Accepting New Patients
Cityscape Dental is currently accepting new patients. Our team is committed to providing exceptional dental care to individuals and families in our community, and we welcome you to join us. Whether you are looking for routine check-ups, preventative care, or more complex procedures, we’re dedicated to providing you with personalized and compassionate care to help you achieve optimal oral health.
Your New Patient Dental Visit
Step 1: Your Appointment
When you arrive, our friendly team will greet you, check you in, notify your oral health team of your arrival, verify insurance if applicable, and guide you through any necessary new patient paperwork. You can save time by completing the new patient forms in your appointment confirmation email before you arrive.
Once completed, a team member will escort you from the waiting room to a treatment room, where they will review your dental history, medical history, and any dental health concerns or issues. The Dental Assistant will take X-rays, allowing us to examine the jaw’s structure, teeth position, and tooth condition.
Step 2: Your Exam
As a new patient, your initial comprehensive exam will last approximately one hour. This visit will help us get acquainted with each other and learn about your goals for your dental treatment. Upon completion of your examination and review of X-rays, we will review the findings and results with you. Our practice focuses on technology and has the advantage of an intraoral camera to give you a 3-D video tour concerning tooth areas if needed. Our Dentist will discuss recommendations and procedures and outline an individualized approach specific to your dental health.
Step 3: Your Hygiene Visit
On your first visit, you may not receive a cleaning. A cleaning may be completed after the doctor ensures it is the appropriate treatment for your specific oral health.
Our Dental Hygienists will review your mouth and gums and oral cancer screening. If appropriate, our Hygienist will thoroughly clean and polish your teeth. Your Hygienist may clean your teeth manually with traditional tools or use an advanced water-powered instrument based on what is best for your specific needs. Finally, your Hygienist will review tips for caring for your teeth and preventing gum disease. Your hygiene exam should take about 45 minutes, and you will leave with a toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste to keep on track with your home health routine.

During your first visit at Cityscape Dental, a thorough examination will be completed. This exam will include an oral cancer screening, diagnostic radiographs, intra-oral photos, and cavity detection. This information will allow us to make an accurate diagnosis of your oral conditions. After the exam, we will discuss any recommendations and answer any questions you may have. The key to our successful relationship is an open line of communication.
Our dental hygienists will perform a full general cleaning or begin any recommended therapy for treating gum and periodontal disease. They will also provide oral hygiene instructions, along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth.
Making sound decisions about your dental care and oral health is an easy thing to do with the right preparation beforehand:
Make a list of questions to ask our office, so you don’t forget anything on the day of your appointment. This includes:
- Concerns you have or oral problems you’ve been experiencing.
- If you have dental insurance, remember to bring your insurance card with you.
- If any treatment is recommended, we will discuss options and benefits with you before proceeding. We will work within an established budget, so you obtain the care you desire in an affordable fashion.
Together we can achieve a common goal: giving you a beautiful smile, and keeping your teeth, gums, and jaw joints healthy!
We are in-network for Delta Premier, Metlife, Cigna, and Guardian, and accept many other traditional dental plans.
